Virginia's Bluebird
Limited Edition Print from Original Watercolor
This is another painting in a series I have done over the years featuring birds and Virginia Creeper, a wonderful local vine that is fun to paint and provides fruit for birds to eat. The title refers to the love of my life, my wife (Virginia) and the vine. Bluebirds sometimes stay in Benzie County all winter, in years when there is abundant wild fruit. This bird is all puffed out, because it is a frigid fall day.
The original has been sold, but this image is available as a Limited Edition Print. See below for more information.
