2024 - Year in Review
It's hard to believe 2024 is already coming to a close! I hope all is well as you are reading this post, and I am grateful for all of the support, encouragement and great memories you all have enabled on this adventure called life! This year marked our tenth gallery season, and I’ve been reflecting on how much I’ve learned and grown since we first opened the doors of Focus Gallery. We have lots of ideas in the works for the years ahead as well, but wanted to express our gratitude to all of you out there who have visited and made the past 10 years such a great success with your support of Carl's and my art.
As I sit here preparing for a family adventure to Costa Rica over the holidays, I have been reflecting on the year and reviewing images I made in 2024. I have done a terrible job of keeping the website and social media feeds up to date with new work, so I wanted to share some end-of-year updates and galleries of new work for you here. As always, it takes me a while to get through the image capture to print making pipeline - but if any of these photos are of interest to you, please reach out as I'd love to make you a print!
NEWS AND NEW WORK
I want to say a special Thank You to Carl and Ginny Freeman as well. Without their friendship and hard work Focus Gallery would not be what it is! I greatly enjoyed getting out and about with Carl making photographs this year, too - most of the images included here were taken while adventuring with Carl or have been influenced in some positive way by Carl and his amazing, encyclopedic knowledge of the natural world. While I didn’t make it out as much as I would have liked to, I cherish the opportunities I did have to enjoy the outdoors with my dear friend and fellow artist. Thanks for all the support and encouragement along the way and for getting me outside!
